Those posters came online before Dark Knight was in theaters, they where made by a digital artist on deviant art. His concept for Kristen Bell was Harley Quinn. It looked pretty good.

Default Batman 3?

this is on a serious note:
anyone know of the possibility that a third batman might come out.
i read something about it saying that nolan might cast johnny depp as the riddler,

now for something unexpected.
while i was looking for info on batman 3 i stumbled upon a really interesting picture.
it seems as if the dark side found batman,

lol ,not really. when i saw this pic it was pretty funny as batman is a vigilante and plays the whole good guy role
whereas darth vader represents the downfall of hero into a villian
they got nothing in common, but they're still holding hands.

Well at least they would know which accessories belong to whom and who the helmet belongs to. But I wonder if Darth Vader would be allowed in the Bat Cave.

Now imagine Batman really hung over from a party, takes Darth's helmet on to do his business...
I really hope Nolan will work on the third...
No other deserves to work on it.

It's not like it would be impossible to do it. The Joker got arrested at the end of TDK, and taken to Arkham Asylum I believe. How much do they have to show of Arkham Asylum and the Joker in a third movie? Not much. It wouldn't even suffer for it, if you ask me. The Dark Knight was its own monster, and a third movie in this franchise would not be a bad idea.

Being that they made buttloads of money off both BB and TDK, I doubt Warner is gonna say "yeah, Heath is dead so we can't make anymore batman movies". Yeah, right.

It'll happen.

The question is when, and can nolan pull another masterpiece out of his ass? I know he's a good director, but I also know he can be hit or miss. He's been "hit" on both Batman movies as far as I'm concerned, but there's always a potential for a screw-up, or that things just won't work out as well. I think regardless of what happens that the way people have deified Ledger's work in TDK, and regardless of how good the third film will be, it will probably not be as good or better, and so it probably will not be a huge hit. There's still a chance it could be good, though, so I'm still looking forward to it.

....but.....Depp as the Riddler?

I can see it, I just kind of don't want to. Jim Carrey was bad enough. I know some people loved his performance as The Riddler, but I really wasn't that impressed. I dunno, he could really surprise, but I'd rather see someone much more dark. I know it's the Riddler, but wouldn't it be cool to see a much darker version of him? After all, these "Nolan" Batman films are all about realism, right?

already a handful of threads exists about a possible 3rd Batman movie. Also Nolan is considering making a 3rd movie.

grunching, It will be made no matter what.

Christopher Nolan has not announced a decision, The fact that there hasnt been an announcement makes me think Nolan is doing it and just wants to wait to get Inception done and theyre being patient waiting for him. If there was a good chance he wasnt doing it I think the studio would of moved on and announced something already.

All casting rumors are media created at this time. There isn't a script yet or a signed director, so they definitely aren't talking to people about roles yet. Warner wants the movie to come out in 2011, which would be the same amount of time that was between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Batman 3 already came out. It was called Batman Forever and Jim Carrey was The Riddler. Seriously the correct naming of the next batman movie until they release the official title would be Batman Begins 3.
