Yeah, sounds like it is exactly the same story. Or maybe it is just the fact that there are people with guns running around shooting zombies.

Sigh. I'll try typing slower. The point is that in DOTD Romero tried to present Zombies as being more human - as having feelings, memories, something other than mindless killers. You had one side that just wanted to wipe them out and one side that wanted to study them to see if they could be returned to humanity.

So YES IT IS THE SAME STORY!
