There aren't many movies I would double-dip on like this, but Minus One is one. Just got to wonder if there's still some uber everything edition to come.

It seems like they're just taking the Japanese set and slapping English subtitles on the movie. Nothing else.

Yeah, the trailers and the fourth Blu-ray disc do not have English subtitles. The booklet is only in Japanese, too.

i had a feeling a US release was going to come this way, sicne Toho distributed the film themselves.

Oooh, I do want this film as I really enjoyed it, but as others have said, the Japanese-only bonus disc and booklet aren't ideal. Still a gorgeous package though!

sounds like there will be a wide release later, likely just the single disc Blu-ray versions that Japan has.

The lack of the dub and no subtitles for the bonus features is disappointing but I pre-ordered this so fast. Too fast to use the discount code.

The english dub was directly produced by Netflix and is exclusive to their platform.

I'll get this. If Toho is the exclusive worldwide distributor there's no point in waiting for a scaled down version or even a dubbed edition. I hate dubs anyway. And I don't usually read liner notes so I don't care about that.

EDIT: How long after I text them do I have to wait for the code? So far I haven't received anything. BTW, by signing up they give you a 15% off discount. I wonder if it'll work concurrently.

Oh, yeah, it actually was just for free shipping. That actually is a better savings than 10% off, since it saves $8 vs $6.5, assuming you're just getting this release. I'll edit my post to correct that.
