Apart from what promises to be some great 3D -- and the opportunity of seeing the character that launched 1000 UK PM candidates (sort of like a regenerating Dr. Who!
![]() Yes, I realize Elliott's an acquired taste... and, yes, a comedian can only be as good as a movie's script will allow... and, yes, Hyperspace commands merely a 4.7 on IMDb.... but... in my book, Elliott can do no wrong. (Well... very little wrong...) Needless to say, I was a ginormous fan of his sublime TV series "Get a Life." And I may have been one of the few who truly enjoyed his 1994 star-turn Cabin Boy. Alas, it bombed. When his former boss David Letterman had him on as a guest a few months later, Letterman asked, "So, are you looking forward to returning to your old job at The Gap...?" Anyway, I be lovin' me some Chris Elliott. Paula Poundstone? Well, I won't be discussing her.... ![]() |
