trying to play MKV on my laptop connected to PS3....help?
So I have a cable connecting my laptop to the PS3.
I have an MKV file which will not play on the PS3 (won't even show up on the HD) but I want to play it via VLC player on my laptop, and have it show up on the monitor my PS3 is hooked to. However the VLC player opens up but a small box reading "INPUT NOT SUPPORTED" is shown. The video file plays on my laptop, but it won't show up on the PS3. Do I need another program to play it? Windows Media Player perhaps? |
