I'm hoping someone out there can help me. Last week I bought the BD of the Bourne Supremacy and the Bourne Ultimatum. Despite numerous attempts, when I stuck Supermacy in my drive it wouldn't be detected at all, it would just spin and make a kind of "ba-ruhm" noise. The Ultimatum disk worked just fine (as do my other disks - only 6, I'm just building up my collection). I took the disk back to HMV and had to wait a week for them to get another copy. It arrived today, took it home and... it won't work. I've no idea what to do. I've tried cleaning the lens, I've tried cleaning the disk, and it makes no difference. As I said, the other disks work fine.
I've updated the BIOS, I've updated the software (WinDVD, HP's QuickPlay AND TotalMedia Theatre 3), but Windows just won't detect the disk. Any ideas? Could it be a faulty batch of disks? |
