Ticketmaster fees getting to be a joke.

Yup, fees are outrageous, but what alternative is there. None. They're so high because they can get away with it. I've missed my fair share of shows because I refuse to spend that much money on tickets. Big arena shows are a rarity for me now just because of the prices.

Last 2 concerts I actually paid for were Guns N Roses in 2016 and Iron Maiden in 2022, both concerts I paid no more then 80 per ticket with fees.

I did manage to get a concert this year for my wife and I $55 per ticket to see a symphony play John Williams music as a date night in June.

Otherwise most concerts I saw between 2016 and 2018 I was working for the local concert promoter as a part time job. I wouldn't pay these prices. When Metallica last came on their 72 seasons tour in 2023/2024 they wanted 200+ dollars per ticket and it was the same seats as when I bought Maiden for 80. And they made you go to both shows and you couldn't scalp tickets. So it was like a grand for both days total 4 tickets. Ive seen Metallica 3x already not paying those prices.
