So I guess no one is watching Dead City? Season 1 was alright, but season 2 has been a chore. I'm glad they killed off that military or whatever woman that played on Orange is the New Black, she was terrible. It really isn't good enough to keep doing more seasons.

I started losing interest in the main show during season 7 but continued until the Whisperers story line. I was interested in the Rick spin off but that was a disappointment. The other spin offs just didn't interest me at all. When I rewatch the main show I stop at 6x9 No Way Out, that's my preferred ending to the series.

I watched the whole series of The Walking Dead, and some of Fear the Walking Dead, and that one with the kids whose name escapes me at the moment.
I dropped cable TV just before all of the other spin offs happened, and only have a Roku box with no paid streaming subscriptions, so have not seen any of the spin offs. The more time passes, the less motivated I am to try to find them. Are they old enough now to have found their way onto a free platform? |

I recently wrapped up my marathon of TWD seasons 1-11 and FtWD 1-3;
I very much enjoyed the final two seasons of the original series, having not watched them before. But my question is… aside from the Rick/Michonne miniseries (which I need to watch for completionist sake), what spin off series, if any, are worth checking out? |

Adding two episodes to make it 8 vs last season's 6 wasn't a good idea either. |

This whole newest episode was terrible. Those kid zombies are literally dead, why are you acting weird and not wanting to kill the one trying to eat you? And Maggie was just stupid the whole episode. I'll watch the finale but after that I'm out, renewed or not. |

Simply put, the main show was stretched so thin it was transparent. How many times did the group get split up and focused on one character per episode? One community was found, and they would soon end up either battling them or, like Oceanside, just forgetting about them.
Fear became the Morgan show and a repeat of the main show. I do concede that the nuclear/fallout effect was cool. However, Strand becomes king of the world, and everyone is just being okay even a nuclear bomb exploding next door doesn't bother him. The Rick spin-off is something that shouldn't really have been made, it was due to him leaving the show and the promise of the films. It was just a way to resolve his character, not good or bad just largely redundant. The two sisters' spin-off was unwatchable. It should've expanded the lore of the 'Black Helicopter people' did very little, terrible acting, and wig choice. A corduroy suit is the best defence in a zombie apocalypse. Dead City, the first episode, is really good real escape from New York vibes. Sadly, they abandoned this after this episode. This show also has the most continuity errors I've ever seen in a TV show. Suffers from a symptom of the franchise as a whole, that, outside of a few, most of the antagonists are rubbish. Daryl Dixon, the first season, was decent, much better than I'd expected. A good story with well-developed new characters, the atmosphere was well done, reminded me of Resident Evil 2 & 3 in the sound design. Unfortunately, the second season brought Carol, and this coincided with most of the main supporting cast being killed off in a really ham-fisted, poorly thought-out way. Done because the showrunners decided that that's what the fans want. |

I finished Dead City, the finale was fairly good all thing's considered, but I'm out. I just don't care about them anymore they keep being stupid. The ending made me think it'd be funny if the three of them moved into the apartment and it became a comedy though lol |

I can't believe they made Glenn's kid the most unlikable character in TWD universe. The only thing they have in common is he vaguely resembles his dad. They have absolutely nothing in common in terms of personality, being a raging little a-hole. Are they actually trying to get us to hate the kid?
