Along with the Tom Baker set I hope we get a Matt Smith Years set like the Eccelston/Tennent set from October of last year.

Yeah, it's always confused me why the Smith era hadn't been recently rereleased on Blu-ray (I know a set came out a while back, but it's OOP and insanely over-priced in comparison to the Eccleston/Tennant, Capaldi, and Whittaker sets. I am surprised, given the (seeming) popularity of #11 that he didn't rank his own complete works set like the others have.

While Tennant was my first Doctor the one I watched from beginning to end while it was airing on BBC America was Matt Smith. So I have a soft spot for his run. Now that I’ve watched more Classic Who he reminds me of Patrick Troughton. I can’t wait to get his seasons when the BBC gets around to those seasons from what I’ve watched of his era he was imo a great Doctor.

Matt Smith deliberately based his performance on Patrick Troughton, IIRC. I quite enjoyed Matt's era - there are certain moments where he definitely captures the "old soul in a young body" quite well.

Smith was brilliant. Probably the high water mark of the new series.
