They obviously have money problems and try to stay afloat and continue business.
That's the problem when you print a certain amount and keep sitting on copies, because you overestimated demand (literally the problem of even regular retail).

Is that a bad thing?
Should they rather file bankruptcy and close down and make tons of people unemployed?

I kept all my preorders (4 left).
