It's certainly something that I can do. I need to update the list with the newer releases. I just found it annoying that there was no definitive list of ALL of Hammer titles that's why I got the first post back.

I will also update with the newer Hammer Films and tv series'. The only thing that I don't know is the many shorts Hammer produced, if anyone has a list of those that would be a great help

Oh, I know; two of my all-time favs are HYSTERIA and THE NANNY, and I would love to see both get UHD upgrades, but I think we can all agree that Hammer's main claim to fame is its groundbreaking use of colour in some of the greatest horror films ever made.

Those classic horror films they own are were the collectors and market is these days.

Amazes me they think it’s a good business model to release the last couple of black & white films instead. Am sure pretty much all the other small studios and independent labels would focus their resources and energy on what they know will sell miles better.

I admire their diligence in outputting stuff like Blood Orange; it's an interesting corner of Hammer history. But I think they got the approach all wrong on this one - it's a thoroughly mediocre movie and is grossly overindulged in terms of having a standalone dual format release at that price. While some of the extras in this set are interesting, it feels like a small amount of bonus material has been stretched to breaking point in order to justify the package.

I'd love to see the likes of Vampire Circus get a release, not only because no-one seems to have got the transfer right so far but also because it might signify a rights deal that would herald more goodies in the future.

They own outright Blood Orange and The Man in Black. They don’t own the bigger name titles and will have to cut deals with other studios to get them.

Not true.

They own Dracula and Curse of Frankenstein. The two we had been discussing before it got distracted by the Imprint announcement. They’re absolute classics in the horror genre. Much more so than much of their later output.

Would love both of those and in big boxes only one could be coming this year. Much more likely than something another studio owns.

Pretty sure Hammer owns FRANKENSTEIN AND THE MONSTER FROM HELL also, at least the U.K. rights anyway, and I would dearly love to see this get a deluxe big box edition!

I think it’s a safe bet they’ve held Curse back for their big October Halloween release.

It and The Mummy got decent box-sets from Second Sight in 2022.

Hammer do indeed own the UK rights to The Mummy, The Curse Of Frankenstein, Dracula and Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell.

I can understand them spreading them out, after all there is only so many big hitters they own outright. I was surprised we got Quatermass 2 so quickly after the first one. You think we've had three big titles so far Kronos, Quatermass Xperiment and Quatermass 2, if we get one of the gothic horrors in October then I would say Hammer are doing a good job. Yes something like Blood Orange is overkill for that type of film, but its lovely we're getting them released at all.

And as Hammer have now said they are working with the rights holders for the rest of their filmography the future is very bright

To be fair, those were just based on the same old transfers released elsewhere.

Not that they are particularly bad in any way, but both would definitely benefit from new transfers and restorations.

The Wikipedia list of Hammer's filmography is a good place to start albeit Doctor Jekyll (2023) is listed despite Hammer ONLY distributing it which I think makes it the first film they've NOT produced.

Is there anywhere I can find a list of Hammer films in production order, not release order?

Ok, here goes. Mystic Ross hereby predicts that The Curse of Frankenstein 4K UHD bumper box set will be released by Hammer on October 6th 2025.

The back of the UK Vampire Circus BD says licensed from ITV Group so I doubt 'Hammer Films' will do a UHD release, maybe Imprint will.

As much as I like Hammer calling them the greatest horror films (which requires the film to be transcending) is a bit much for me although some come close. I like Jean Rollins and Jess Franco (70s) horror as well but that does not mean I consider them the greatest either.

I’m hoping it will be (and should be) Christopher Lee’s first appearance as Dracula (1958). Thus far Hammer’s restorations have been excellent. And if any Hammer film needed a complete overhaul, it should be Dracula.

There is currently no acceptable blu-ray anywhere in the world, IMO. Hammer did post previously on Facebook a clip from Dracula. Maybe the purpose was just to keep everybody guessing.

But I can hardly wait for their announcement this Friday. Which ever Hammer film it is, I’m sure it will be great.

Are you basing these choices just on Madeline Smith's presence in the video with Wayne Kinsey? I am so hoping it's The Vampire Lovers.
