If Tron and Sam are in the Tron Ares film (and maybe even Quorra) from Tron Legacy, I wouldn't keep that a secret if they want a stronger opening weekend. I'd announce it or maybe even show a new trailer revealing them briefly.

For the 3D, I'm thinking they struggled to reduce the ghosting effect on screen again, and probably reduced the 3D strength as a result, based on the 3D trailer I saw, which looks like mild 3D but slightly better than Tron Legacy. It is just the trailer, so maybe the final film will amp the 3D up more I hope.
3D is definitely stronger than Tron Legacy on average. Closer to 30% and 40% disparity. Medium and Strong Medium. And unlike Legacy, all of the real world shots are in 3D this time.

I don't see anything in the trailer preventing the 3D from being pushed further, especially since anyone with time on their hands could do a version of the trailer using 50% disparity using DepthCrafter/VideoDepthAnything Depth Maps + Stereocrafter for a professional style 3D conversion.

For those that forgot how mild Tron Legacy was... Here's a 3D GIF comparing a shot from Legacy and Ares.

You don't see barely any rotation in the famous Quorra shot... It's essentially flat, despite being filmed with a 3D camera.
