Finished episodes 5 through 7. Now that we are out of the woods and away from the Dollface gang, episode 5 is the first really good episode of the show. Not surprising its also the beginning of the tournament.
The show works better and is so much more entertaining when all the characters are together and interacting. John shows that he isn't completely incompetent in the first match as well. I love that [Show spoiler] died in episode 6.When season 1 ended, I had a feeling John would use his wish to ask for someone to come back to life. I just assumed it would have been Quiet, who I originally predicted would've been killed off by now. I still wonder if John wins, Calypso will instead grant John's wish from that flashback in episode 6. Anthony Carrigan is perfect as Calypso btw. Just a complete creep. Don't like the girl Mayhem though. Character feels kind of pointless. |
