[Show spoiler]So it's not too subtle what the twist on this alt universe is going to be, right? The only person of color we see (foreground or background) is one of the "terrorists". Also one of the "Top Trio" headlines we see in their library is them defeating the "Rainbow Monster".

So it seems that Auggie Smith is not necessarily a better person in this world, he just grew up and raised his sons in a society much more amenable to his beliefs. Perhaps a "the Confederacy won the Civil War (or Nazis win WW2)" scenario as I don't recall seeing any flags...
