I'm thinking of purchasing a new projector and I would like to have the pj on a shelf instead of being mounted on the ceiling. The shelf would be just about center vertically, so that is not an issue at all. However, based on what I want to do, the pj would appear to be about 12" off from center horizontally. My question is, are most pj's (like the Sanyo PLV-Z60 or the Panasonic PT-AX200U) capable of a 12" horizontal lense shift without losing any PQ? (By the way, I am aware that you do lose the amount you can vertically shift when you use the horizontal shift, but as previously stated, my pj would be positioned just about center vertically, so I should be OK here.) Thanks for any and all replies!
