Help me identify this movie!

I'm trying find the name of this film, I remember seeing this film about ambulance drivers/paramedics in on cable back in the 90's ,but I'm sure the movie is from the 70's. I can't remember who was in it but here's a few scenes i do remember, one is where the paramedics have to get this very heavyset lady down a large flight of stairs and they loose control and the gurney rolls down the stairs and into the street. the other scene I remember is lady who has a baby in the back of an ambulance and she dies from a hemmorage, but the baby lives. Any idea of what this movie is called? It might not even be on DVD.
