Wait a year for individual seasons. If they still haven't come out or had any announcement you can still pick this up and it'll most likely be even cheaper.

Well my Set from Sendit.com arrived in inadequate packaging this morning, as as you can probably guess it was dented to buggery! I have bought from these guys several times in the past, but for this order it's been one problem to another. First they deliver it to the wrong address (which I had previously changed with them!). Someone from Parcel Force are coming to collect it tomorrow, then I have to wait for my refund in order to re order it again! Not impressed!

^ That's why I ordered my copy from amazon.co.uk. True, it was a bit more expensive but I trust amazon way more then sendit.com.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed, you would have thought they might have the sense in boxing these things up, but nope, it came in a jiffy bag the size of a nappy!

I can vouch for amazon.co.uk - my tin arrived in a cardboard box filled with bubble wrap on all sides. I live all the way down in New Zealand, and my tin arrived in perfect condition.

Received my UK edition over a week ago and its fracking great.

Twas a bit dented (the hut only put a standard bubble-padded envelope around it)

I'm not fussed. Looks OK.

The actual disk holders themselves look a bit tacky. Very glad to own this on blu.

Has anyone verified that the UK version will play in the US?

Not to be rude, but please read the last page or two. We have been over this in excruciating detail - yes the UK version works in US players.

Remember, if you are shipping to the U.S. , you do not have to pay VAT (Taxes). Just ordered mine and it was 101.32 total pounds, or about 161 dollars (with shipping) Works out to about 40 bucks a season. (plus mini series & Razor included) I would pay this for regular DVD, so for Blu its a steal IMO.

The price is exceptional for what you get in the package.
I am still not 100% sure if I should buy the Metal case entire collection or wait a little longer and get the individual seasons ?

Have the individual season have a rumor date at least? I would like to get individual seasons rather then the box set.

Not even rumors on dates for individual seasons in the US - no word whatsoever. However, the individual seasons are for sale in Australia, and the Australian discs are identical to the US discs (region free, all episodes and extras playable in US machines, FBI warnings, US version of season 1 opening music, etc.).

I wasnt sure if the individual seasons included the Mini-series (part of season 1 collection I assume) or the Razor movie, so i just got the UK box set. Plus , they were more expensive if bought separately. When i watched the regular DVD's on netflix, Razor was not included in any of the seasons so i have yet to watch it. Not sure if thats a deal breaker for anyone though. I can definitely see the advantage of the separate packaging . Let us know how they are if you buy them DaPenguinPimP......

But is the UK version of this Blu-ray release really PAL? If so, isn't that 25 FPS instead of 29 FPS? Would the average viewer notice (feel) the differences?

Your still living in DVD-land there buddy.

The advantage of BD/HD-DVD is that they put that NTSC/PAL business to bed.

Sure some of the supplements might be NTSC or PAL for certain releases but the film/program itself will (99% of the time) be 1080p/24 regardless of geographic location.
