Having "Daybreak" as one continuious episode makes it seem much better as the ending of a Great TV Show.

It just seems a show as Great As BSG deserved a "Movie" to mark its ending,and Not 3 seperate episodes that occured one after the other.

The Episode format was Great for the Four Seasons of the Show after the Beginning Mini Series.But for an ending it would somehow seem as if it did not do the show justice by not having a Non-Stop Ride for the Ending of All Things and the Discovery Of A Place of Rest and Peace,Similar to What They had Searched For.

Well I think I'm ready for BSG. I just ordered the set from buy.com. I have some 6 disc elite cases on there way now, and my replacement covers and booklet are on my usb drive ready to get printed out at a copy shop. I should be good to go by the weekend!

where did you order the 6 disc cases? I've been looking everywhere for replacement cases for the BSG set, and the only site I know of to order cases 4 discs or larger are out of them until december. Site? Link?

I ordered mine from a member of the AVSForum who is located in Australia. He is all out of cases himself now. If I had known about the site you are talking about before I ordered mine I would have waited since I ended up paying $32 for 4 cases, which was a bit more than I wanted to spend. However, since I was unaware of anywhere else to get them I went ahead and placed my order.

Congratulations RodC you are in for an incredible journey in Battlestar Galactica.

In all the shows I have seen over my 39 years,this is one of the absolute best.

You will find yourself feeling as if you are among the survivors the more you watch this amazing Sci-Fi Show.
But I will say once you watch the mini-series that begins it all and get to the very first episode titled "33" you will be hooked.
I hope you have a good amount of Free Time.Because you are not going to want to stop watching episode after episode as BSG draws you in.

And the fact you are putting the discs in seperate cases with inserts and a booklet is wonderful.It will keep the discs safer and easy to get to.
I wish they would have placed the individual seasons in the same type of cases you are using.

So get everything printed out and ready.You are going to start a show you will find more addicting then any drug.

Forgive me if this has already been asked. I noticed The Plan came out today. Are there ever any plans to release the webisodes on bluray? Because those aren't in the Complete set, right?

Where did you see The Plan at?? I thought it was coming out the 27th?

They had it at my local Hasting's. I didn't buy it yet, but maybe I should. Maybe it's some kind of special deal like they do at Best Buy all the time.

Man, I'm only just now getting done with season two. It's going to take me awhile before I get to The Plan. I probably will buy it soon though.

That's why I was wondering about the webisodes. Does anyone know if they'll get a bluray release...if not, where can I go online to watch them?

The resistance webisodes are on Season 3 Disc 2 I think, and the Face of the Enemy webisodes, I believe, are on SyFy.com or you can Torrent them.

They're on the Razor Disc.
Most are in the Movie though, at least the extended version. I have not watched the Broadcast version.

The only way it won't live up to the hype for you is if you don't enjoy series that are excellently written, acted, produced, scored and presented. Out of 75-ish episodes, nearly 70 of those are some of the best TV that I have ever seen. It comes in a very close second to being my favorite series of all time, after LOST.
