I found a great gallery with a prewired setup ready for some Polk FXi's and I tried to PM the user florad but it seems he doesnt visit often, anyway..
for those of you with these types of speakers flush mounted to your walls is there room and/or clearance behind the speaker if I were to cut in a single gang box and mount the speaker so the box is direcly behind the speaker, therefore the speaker covers the box opening? And still utilize a direct connect to the speaker? When the prewire and install of my theatre comes I will definately need to cut out a single gang, add a mudring and cover plate with a hole in it for each speaker location so what I need is to be able to cover the opening with the speaker and still be able to connect the speaker wire to it. Thanks! |
