Angry iPhone user suing Apple for $1 million

I can understand being angry about the price being slashed 1/3 after only a couple of months, but how does one arrive at the sum of one million in damages? Am I the only one who thinks there are frivolous lawsuits aplenty these days? Seems ridiculous to me. It would seem that price cuts and new competing technologies go hand-in-hand, but may be I'm wrong?

Thought I get some other opinions. Thanks in advance.
