I decided to pick up the Oppo and sold my BD60 to a friend of mine. I wanted a player without any freezing issues and so far haven't had any problems with the Oppo. However like most of you said I would not see a difference in picture quality and that is correct. Now I am looking at the Denon 2500BTCI. This unit has been discontinued so I am a little cautious about buying it. Just in terms of picture quality which is the better choice? Tried another Panasonic but when I downloaded the latest firmware I started getting freezing issues. Not interested in Samsung or Sony models. Tried the Pioneer 320 but load times were too long. Tried the LG BD390 but picture was no better than the Oppo. I have the PS3 slim but I want a standalone blu ray player for movies. Television is the Panny 50V10 and the receiver is the Onkyo TX SR806.
