My current desktop and laptop are both completely infected with adware - and it is very annoying. This is probably due to my kids using them, but I am to the point of having to wipe everything out and start over. I am hoping to not have these issues with the Mac.

I needed a new system to do HD video editing (home videos and stuff), and after researching a lot, it seemed that the Macs were best for this type of work. The priced did seem higher than a PC, though the extra cost will be worth it if the Mac works as well as I hear.
