ABC's "Lost" Discussion (2004-2010)

I'm about 3/4 thru S3 in my marathon rewatch. I absolutely cannot wait for the new season to tie up tons of loose ends (like lists, Mikhail, etc.).

Stoked to see the great review for S5 blu...although, no surprise here...

I'm about halfway through S3. I can't wait for the new season, but also dread it because after this season there is no more Lost.

I know TPTB will not answer every question we have, but I hope they answer the major ones. I still want to know who Ben's childhood friend Annie is, but have a feeling that will be one of the questions that goes unanswered.

I'm pretty sure they've stated that they would be addressing Annie again at some point. But really, if they don't, is it that big of a deal? I never viewed her character as an unanswered mystery. When Ben was a kid, he had a friend named Annie. Maybe it's simply not any more significant than that. Still, I think we'll learn what happened to her anyway.

I'm glad they are going to address it. You could be right and she could be nothing more than a childhood friend. I just got a hunch she is somewhat important in Ben's life. How much? I don't know.

I think the big question about her is whether or not she was still around when the purge happened. Other than that... well, we'll find out soon enough. February can't get here soon enough!

I agree. I'm going through major Lost withdrawal. I don't know what I will do after this season is over.

I would be very disappointed in Lindelof and Cuse if they gave away the ending in a pre-season promo.

That's all fine and good if it turns out to be the case, but I wouldn't be so quick to claim that your GF has been right all along based on a promo pieced together by a tv network in Spain. Unless it's an official Lost promo, it doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

I agree. Definitely just a clever promo. Still, that's probably one of the best promos for a show that I've ever seen. I loved it when they slammed down the chess piece of the statue.

Yeah she might Noe be all right but still.... So I was watching S3 last night and I noticed that Sawyer feet in the brig ep is still a question if that's his for of the statue??

In any event, the link specifically says that Cuse/Lindelof have NOT included new footage for promos, so affiliates have been FORCED to make up their own.

Team Lost is keeping mum and staying dark about the contents of the show’s final season, set to premiere on February 2. The producers have even said they would rather not include any footage from the final slate of episodes in promos and advertising. Consequently, the show’s network partners around the world have been forced to come up with creative solutions for touting the show–and Lost’s Spanish carrier, Cuatro, has set the bar pretty damn high with a just-released promo that’s stirring a buzz storm among fans. It’s so cool, it even caused Lost exec producer Carlton Cuse to tweet a rave via Twitter: “Best Lost promo I’ve ever seen…” If you haven’t seen it, you can check it out below.

I just bought LOST S5 at my local FYE... they had it out early so I grabbed it.. 50.00 for the best show ever!!). I'm going to watch the deleted scenes now
