After watching a number of movies on BD, some BD25, some BD50, I certainly am starting to notice some difference in PQ. A notable mention is Fantastic Four (BD25), and FF4: ROTSS (BD50).
While the former is still HD and roughly 20Mb bit rates, the latter is 30Mb or better. I didn't buy Planet of Apes for that reason when I saw it was on BD25. While the price is lower on the single disc, I think I would much rather pay the extra money for the dual layer and have a better long term investment. How do you feel about it? |
