Default SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD picked up by Magnet
Romero fans rejoice; Survival of the Dead - George A. Romero's latest zombie opus - has been picked up by Magnet/Magnolia. The flick's going to debut as part of their VOD service (ala House of the Devil) this spring, before it gets a limited theatrical run. If Magnet's other Six Shooter Cinema flicks are any indication, there will definitely be a Blu-ray release. Sadly, Magnolia/Magnet's previous Blu releases have been decidedly lacking in the extras department, so here's to hoping Romero's shooting a bunch of extra stuff (ala the feature length documentary that accompanied Diary of the Dead!).
