Default LCD..Blu ray..headphones problem

this is a stupid problem to have, but i have it nonetheless

I have a Grundig HDTV in my room, which doesn't support headphones. I've plugged the headphones in every hole imaginable, it doesn't support them. I have a PS3 and a 360 connected to it. The PS3 by HDMI and the 360 by component. The reason i don't have them both to HDMI is because the with the PS3 i can change the audio output to component while leaving display to HDMI, and then through a splitter i can plug in my headphones. With the 360 its either all HDMI or all component, so i plug in the red and white cables on one end of the splitter and the headphones in the other end

thats my room setup but here is the problem. i'm thinking of buying a region free blu ray player (i live in australia, ps3 only supports region b) but if i hooked it up through HDMI, i can't use my headphone because the TV doesn't support them. And i only watch blu ray movies at night which is why i wanna use headphones. I don't really want to use component on the blu ray player and then connect the headphones through a splitter, i really want to use HDMI instead

So, is there some kind of device that can get the damn headphones to work on this stupid TV without resorting to component
