Yes, in this thread, I want to talk about DVDs. Please don't ban me.
There are many movies I want to watch. Where I live, in Taiwan, there isn't Netflix, and cannot watch Video on Demand form US sites like amazon. So I still buy DVDs. It is cheaper than blind buying Blu-rays, almost the cost of renting. Also many old titles are impossible to find here at Blockbuster. $5.79 is my limit. And Amazon.com has many movies at this price. Recently got for $5.79 a piece: Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid The Cincinnati Kid The Getaway Point Blank In my cart: Tom Horn The Yakuza The Sea Wolves Soylent Green It is a hard question because there are 1000+ movies at this price, http://www.dvdpricesearch.com/cgi-bin/dvdsearch2 Still wondering if anyone can recommend some films from the 60's and 70's at this price. |
