Ye, well I just went through LiveChat at CH Canada...and I swear I'm talking to a robot lol
Apparently my order was returned to them without me every receiving it They credited me, I'm assuming, and no one cared to inform me of this Here is the log below lol: Roberta: hi how may i help you Corey: Hi Roberta...i'm just wondering on the status of my order from Dec 7th Corey: Order #***** Corey: hello? Roberta: please hold while we check Corey: thanks Roberta: your order was returned back to us Roberta: credit card would have been credited after jan 6 Corey: I was never made aware of this...was there something wrong with the order? Roberta: It would have been returned by canada post Corey: Because, I never asked for a credit or return Corey: Is another order for the same items going to be sent out at the same price? Roberta: because your credit card was refunded, you are required to place another order, online. Corey: however, the prices will not be the same Corey: nor the shipping cost Roberta: correct Corey: Okay, well I guess that's all then...I'm rather disappointed in this whole ordeal. Roberta: Have a good day I like how she just ended the conversation like that ![]() |

Recieved my copy of Funny People, not what I expected, but still a pretty solid flick. Another sucessful order with CHcanada!!
I have now been shopping with CHcanada for over a year now, and not once have I encountered a problem with an order, and I live in Alberta. Please don't let all the negative posts on this thread prevent you from missing out on all the great deals from this site. The $13.99 blu-ray selection is second to none in Canada, and $23.99 to order new releases isn't too shabby either, especially with all the free shipping offers that come up throughout the year on this thread. Can't wait for next month's $13.99 list, I hope it's a good one!!! ![]() |

I won't argue the live chat could have been handled better and I will follow up on that but you need to understand from our perspective we have packages returned all the time and more often than not it is at the customer's doing so we don't double check to make sure they were the one who returned it - if it comes back unopend it is simply credited as a customer return. Hopefully this makes sense. |

I agree with that. I can understand SavvyGuy's point that they automatically assume it was sent back by the customer. It seems like a bit of an overkill for them to contact each person who sends pack a package only to make sure it was sent back on purpose.
What would perhaps be a nice thing is if an e-mail went out notifying the customer that the returned package had been received, and that the paid money would be refunded. But yeah, definitely agree that CH should've honored the same price. And that that customer service agent could do with some re-training. ![]() I made my own version of how that chat SHOULD have gone: Quote:
