Hoping the Blu community can help me remember this movie

I don't know the name of this movie, can anyone help?

ok this movie was really old and probably not even that good.

I remember seeing it once when I was little so that puts it as a bad early 80's movie.

It was super hero in nature. All I remember is that the lead got super powers somehow but (similar to early green lantern stuff) he would lose his powers whenever he was within sight of the color red. .....yeah...i know.

but I remember thinking it was funny and cool at the time. I doubt it is on dvd let alone going to be on blu but I'd love to check it out again.

[Show spoiler] at the end he is racing to catch his girlfriend as she falls from a plane but he has a red boa (feather scarf thing) around his leg and barely gets it off in time to catch her and they go down through the planet to china lmao how lame but still) and at the very end they get married but she comes out in a all red wedding dress with a big smile on her face and he has an "oh crap" look on his face.
