Default Need an explanation
Can someone please explain to me why I cannot play sound through my TV and stereo at the same time from my PS3?

I can't always use the stereo when I watch a movie so if I want to hear sound I have to go in to the settings of my PS3 and change the sound output to RCA. When I can play it through the surround sound then I have to go back to the settings and switch it to optical. My receiver nor my TV have HDMI so it may work with that, I have no idea...

It's really a hassle though and is inexcusable. My PS2 did it, my xbox did it and my 360 as well as my regular DVD player does it.
