I have done numerous searches on these forums (and google) and haven't been able to find an exact answer to this. So please forgive me if this is an obvious one!
I have a PS3 connected to a Sony 40" 1080p Bravia via HDMI(just a cheap one) and the sound going through an optical cable to a 5.1 sound system. So the HDMI is only having to carry video and no sound during playback. I have been renting Blu-ray movies and have been noticing that during dark scenes that a lot of red shows up on screen and especially around faces. The movies that are an example of this happening are Apocolypto, Tears of the Sun and Brokeback Mountain. Is there any reason this is happening? Is there a simple way to stop it happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated ![]() |
