That guy is whacked because there actually is no such one set so to speak, as in the whole system in a box. Each speaker is sold separately and that's how you can mix and match. That's what I did at my audio shop in New Orleans. I "subed" the pro 1000 sub for the smaller 800 that would be part of the pro 800 system. I went with 800 monitors as I have a small living room- if you have the cash the pro 1000 should be great. Someday I may upgrade to those and send the front 800's to the rear for a 7.1 system. I'd also like to add another sub to have one on each side of the room for maximum impact. Right now I couldn't be happier with the sound I'm getting. Don't let those jokers at Best Buy mess with you - build your system the way you want it.
