For me I have them grouped in categories. I focus on collecting by Comedy/Drama/Horror etc
When I get done with one category I go to the next one. In October I focus on the Horror titles and have a marathon
How do you collect ?

How do I collect? Well, I could either go buy them from the local stores, or order them online and wait a whopping 3-7 days for delivery. On occasion, I might also check the local blu garden to see if a fresh crop is growing; then I might harvest them. Also found a few under a rock once...
Hm, maybe people will start geocaching BDs...
Seriously though, I focus on:
- Any interesting new titles. If it's something I have seen and liked and want to see again, I'll add it to my wishlist (or buy it right away if I really want it, which I do more often than not). If it's something that I haven't seen before, I'll either rent it or just blind-buy it; it all depends.
- Titles I already own on DVD, because I'd rather downsize my DVD collection to save shelf space and increase the quality of the films I own. So if I see catalogue titles on sale, or if new ones come up for preorder, I'll order them.
- All of the above in the form of steelbooks, exclusive editions, special editions, imports, etc. But I will only get this kind of thing if I don't already own a title on BD...usually...
- May consider upgrading an existing BD (double dipping
) if a new edition comes out with better PQ or more extras, or if a box set comes out with other movies I don't have.
