Maybe you guys can help me figure this out.
I got a PS3 over the weekend and I'm connecting with component and optical cables. Everything works great playing games and DVDS, but when I put a Blu Ray disc in, the dolby digital continually breaks up like a scratched CD, but it's only the audio...the picture stays consistent, but the audio gets choppy. I have a Sony receiver (about 3 years old) that works fine with my DVDs, 360, etc., but the PS3 audio is the only problem. I changed the sound field, and it skipped less...but I can't tell if the problem is the receiver or the PS3. Any thoughts? Last edited by Deciazulado; 12-15-2006 at 07:46 AM.
