I'd deal with it better if he loss the stupid looking necklaces and got his old jacket back

They took out the grumpiness?!

This one is going to be a first day....rental for me. I won't be buying it unless I am thoroughly surprised and like the new Cole and I feel the game will have more replay value than the first one did post-platinum. I absolutely LOVE the first game...but I sold it for $20 as after the platinum it didn't hold that much replay value for me. I mean it did have some, but for $20, it was worth selling imo. So I'll be playing it safe with this one, and also Batman: AA2 or w/e it is called, as I loved that game, but sold it because of lack of replay value.

I will, however, be buying The Force Unleashed 2 without renting first.

Edit: I was reading the comments on that article and found this one:

haha, I was actually going to do a third playthrough of inFAMOUS (with those gigawatt blades) as a pre-show to inFAMOUS 2. I have no idea if i'll consider playing inFAMOUS 2, but another playthrough is definetly needed in this time of chaos.

Also, this WraithBringer guy at the bottom of this page makes perfect sense. http://forums.gametrailers.com/threa...1077186?page=4

This is in one of the members signature:

I want to get a listen of the new voice, would like to know if that is something to be concerned about or not, seeing as I loved the old voice.

lol Yeah, i loved Cole's gruff voice in the first game. I can think of certain lines from the game and 'recreate' them in my mind ! haha, Hopefully things turn out for the best, but i get the feeling that one of my favourite games ever is about to be butchered.

Well... I want to actually see what the game looks like before I make my judgment, these are only illustrations after all.

So far the story sounds brilliant though, so I'm not really worried.

But then wouldn't that completely change the pass if he doesn't turn into Kessler as there would be no spear and then no Cole to start of with

There's even complaining about the extreme sports thing, even though Cole was already into extreme building climbing (freerunning/parkour) before inFAMOUS started.

Look at these moves:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJSNJDn4Puc

1:07 reverse twist pullup
1:43 reverse twist jump release

Who doesn't want more stylish touches like that?

And the difference between Nathan Drake, Kratos and Cole? ND and Kratos weren't bland looking/behaving characters in their first game's.

For me, personally, I just don't like it when they switch things up when it works just fine the way it is. An example is with Batman Begins and TDK or Iron Man 1 and 2. I hated that they had to replace the character of Rachel Dawes in the Batman series, and that Rhodey changed actors too. But, I still ended up loving both movies. In this case, I loved the original Cole look because it was so gritty. The only complaint I had with it was the annoying clinking of the backpack when running. However, I'll still end up buying and play/enjoy the game.

I'm basing that off of the first game, not the artwork for this game (that would be ludicrous).

If the first had had enough replay value for me to have kept and play over and over, I'd buy this one for sure, since with how great the story sounds, it should be enough to overcome my disappointment with his look.

But since I LOVED the first one and sold it later, I'm going to be more cautious with this one. As I mentioned, same with the next Batman game, as I loved Batman: AA but sold it after two play throughs as I thought it lacked replay value after that.

I'm still very much interested in this game, but I won't be dropping $60 day one to buy it and possibly sell it down the road. I'll rent it for $7 instead

Just playing it safe, that's all

My sentiments are pretty much what Diesel says here. I couldn't say it any better myself.

Huzzah, at least what we can see of the city looks great, and the animation style doesn't look too much different (at least to my eyes from those shots) than the first game. That was something I was really hoping for. Or if it is different and I'm just not remembering the first game correctly, that's fine too. Either way, I like the way the city looks.

And thank God that he doesn't look as bad in the scans as in that photo from the cover

The in game shots of him look acceptable as opposed to the cover art of the issue looking awful. But still not even remotely as cool as the old Cole (imo)

Bonus points for keeping the bag

Side note: I like Zeke's new look though

And his personality/voice actor remain

So far, I don't like the new art direction they've went with... the first game really did look comic book style.

So far, this looks too realistic and Uncharted like to me... I didn't think they would change Cole THAT much, he looks really bland and boring.

I also like that the new city is inspired by New Orleans...as I'm from Louisiana
