Because that's what Maradona's ego needs, another boost. He's already a massive douche.

Good luck tomorrow. Us CONCACAF folks need to stick together. Love to see the US and Mexico in the later rounds.

There are reports indicating that Drogba is back in training just days after he had surgery on his broken arm and could play against Portugal next week.

Haha, I have an advanced genetics exam at 11 PST, right after the game.

And as soon as I'm done, off to the pub to watch France's game.

So stoked.

Nice choice by ESPN to have Steve MacManaman as a pundit. Nothing like a thick Scouse accent for the US audience to get their ears round.

Nice, I love MacManaman.

There's no one special with CBC's coverage. And their online streaming is an epic fail so far. Where I'm staying now, I have no TV coverage.

Pointless interesting Fact of the World Cup #1

I used to watch ESPN Commentator Efan Ekoku playing for my local semi-pro side, Sutton Utd, twenty years ago.

Ok....I'll shut up......

Hello - new to soccer here. I used to watch a lot of U.S. Pro Basketball & Football when I was younger, but don't feel the games are the same anymore. So hearing so much about the WC and the U.S. team's improvement, I'm actually interested in catching some games this WC. Just a question - I heard the U.S. team is mostly made up of foreign players - is this true? Also, what player(s) on the US are the "stars" or standouts? And is ESPN the only U.S. channel showing the WC?

Thanks.
