Default A Guide to Movie Going.

For those of us that enjoy a theatrical experience, going to the cinema is a right of passage.

The larger than life screen, sound that will always be louder than home, previews, popcorn and the reminder to silence the cell phone are just a few reasons to dish out the extra dollars to se a first run film.

This institution has survived and flourished in the hardest of times in our country.

The greatest of all escapes!

But some of us do not go. We love movies (obviously or I would not be reading this) but we also are afraid of being let down.

No need for that anymore.

The number one rule for all movie fans is to LOWER EXPECTATIONS!

Thats right, stop expecting so much from you movie going experience. Just go to escape, leave this world, forget reality and try to be immersed in a different world.

Let your theater know of all presentation, temperature, lighting issues. You pay for it, they work for you.

But most of all....See a movie not at home. For those of you that wait for Blu/DVD, remember, nothing good went straight to DVD!
