Nicklaus was not a saint either.....It was a different time when the "press" respected a persons private life and didn't think it was any of our business. Nicklaus had his indiscretions too.

Everyone thought that Palmer's nickname "the king" had to do with the golf course. That nickname was actually given to him because of all of the women he slept with but the press didn't push it because that was his private life.

Tiger isn't a saint, but I don't know what his private life with his wife was like so it is not my business to make a judgement call on why he did what he did. Do I think he was stupid? Yes. Do I think that he handled the situation wrong? Yes. Would I have done the same thing? I hope not.

Hey Landry,

Yes, I finally watched "book of eli". I enjoyed it. The audio was very good and while the darker scenes held up ok, the bright scenes were of exceptional quality. I really need to watch it one more time now to see what else I can catch (there is a twist at the end that might a second watching needed).

I would give it a

4/5 for movie

What is beyond bizarre to me, is that in this 24/7 Media age, how could he have kept all those women "on the side" & not ONE report of indiscretion came out??!! He could have paid people off, yes, but Everyone of them?????? Lol. Oh well. When his wife divorces him and takes HALF of his (estimated) $1 Billion or close to it, earnings, then we'll see how that effects his golf game; if it'll be any worse than it has been.

People knew about Tiger's indiscretions. As I've understood it, he was considered "untouchable" and no one would run with such accusations until Tiger stepped out of line. It wasn't until the story broke about the wife teeing off on his head that the hole strand of pearls came undone.

they did? I find that hard to believe that they were just waiting for him to screw up before coming out with all the stories.

Aero - That's precisely what has been said on talk radio here (mind you, I don't know their sources). Tiger never made any serious effort to be discrete, and many many people knew about it.

And even if I wouldn't have caved in at the SALE-A-BRATION, I have that rule about No Single Movie Blus Over $20.00.
