if it was available at the time, it wouldnt matter what game you were playing from the hdd. the disc only spins when you start playing to verify you have the physical media. then it stops. it wouldnt have damaged the disc.

Point was that game would NOT have been installed to the HDD as it wasn't my top 3 to 5 games. It still would have got F'd.

I ran out of space on my HDD as it was..let alone being able to put all my games on it.
