I'm honestly dumbfounded about the acclaim for the film, and you know how much I love foreign films and those involving important issues.

I've been reading Ebert for almost 15 years, with 10 of those being obsessively. As I've stated before, one reason I like him so much is that my rating and his rating is almost always within 1 star, with only a few exceptions. In the past week and a half, I've had the two greatest deviations I've ever had from him, that I can remember. He gave 4 Months 4 stars, I gave it 2. He gave Lovely Bones 1 1/2, I gave it 3 1/2.

What was Rogers reason for his love?

A story within a story. Elequently told. Editing and audio overlaps that connect the two stories are awesome. Adventure, romance, DRAMA, fear, tears, joy, menace. A masterpiece that can be revisited as often as The Wizard of Oz. Tarsem need to make another movie damnit.

It won't matter. He will be drawn here because "he'll know he's been here before." He will see his previous post tomorrow, but not until after he posts tomorrow, and after he has forgot today's post. The Blind Side - Finally got around to watching this film. Heard so much about it over the past year so I decided to blind buy it. I was thoroughly satisfied with this film. Sandra Bullock was great as advertised. I dont think she gets the respect that she actually deserves as an actress. I also thought Quinton Aaron did a fine job as Michael Oher but to me he didnt fit the role physical/appearance wise in my opinion. The real Michael Oher looks a bit more intimidating. My favorite character was Jae Head who played S.J. in the film. What a funny kid. I loved him during the recruiting process and he was refreshing to watch.

One of my favorite moments in the film was when

[Show spoiler]Michael got upset and went to look for his real mother and got invited to that party in his old neighborhood. The fighting sequence that took place was excellent and it really showed the protective side of Michael and how much he could actually defend himself.

All in all I really enjoyed this film and the replay value is fairly high in my opinion.
