Default Looking for entry level Blu-Ray (again)

I signed up about a year ago figuring I would be getting a BD player but my priorities changed and I disapeared for a year. Now I am back in the BD market after a failed attempt to get Blade Runner in HD.

(I bought Blade Runner Ultimate Collector's Edition new and sealed for $25 on HD-DVD and bought an Xbox 360 HD-DVD player add-on for $20 on ebay, but lucky me, it doesn't work and now I'm dealing with that issue. Still $25 for Blade Runner briefcase new on HD-DVD then spending $30 for the 5-Disc Collector's set new on Blu-Ray is cheaper than buying the briefcase new on Blu-Ray in the first place for somewhere in the ballpark of $250 with the only difference being the format of the discs included, but that is a different story).

Now that I am through that joke and failure, I finally got myself some spending money and I'm in the market for a cheap entry level Blu-Ray player. I want an innexpensive BD player that is slightly future proof but not interested in 3D. Currently for audio I use a shelf mini-stereo system (analog RCA input) or Dolby Digital Pro Logic II 5.1 Headphones (TOSLink input). I have a small 19" LCD TV 1440x900 (16:10) (Component or HDMI input, I use the VGA input for my Xbox). So, I don't need anything super powerful but ready for the inevitability of when I get a bigger and better TV or if I get a Surround Sound setup. I only need the player for watching Blu-Ray or DVD movies. I utulize my other hardware for music (especially since I use the barely supported WMA, WMA Pro, and WMA Lossless formats).

A year back I was looking into the Panasonic BD-60 since I could get it on Amazon for $125 new at the time. Since my knowledge of BD sucks, I would appreciate as much help as possible in finding a capable, cheap, entry level but slightly future proof non-3D player. I don't often watch movies so I'm not in the market of spending a lot at all. What do you recomend? Thank you for all the help!
