me too, i just mailed them my disc. Didnt you see the replacement program in the news section. i mailed my copy to the UK about 2 weeks ago. Cant wait to see the results. All im hearing is good news.

This is one of my favorite movies and has an amazing score thanks to Hans Zimmer

The one rating I change is PQ. I always gave the film 4.5 (out of 5), but have always been tempted to give it a 5. This time I finally have given in--the PQ is absolutely incredible. The clarity is oftentimes unreal. Take the last scene of the movie, for instance. Wow, in a word.

Watched the Blu-ray last night, Netflix rental. I really liked the movie, a lot. An intelligent, first rate thriller with plenty of intrigue, good twists and turns and full of great characters. For me the movie is 4.5/5 as well as the PQ & AQ.

If you like this particular genre of film give it a view, you will not be disappointed. Once again reading and participating in this thread has steered me to a film that I might otherwise have overlooked and this film should not be overlooked.

Well its hard for me to be so harsh on this film, but with the standard set by 1 and 2 its hard to give this film a perfect 5. Here are my reasons:
- 1 and 2 just had you way more involved.

Wow thats the first time I ever heard anything positive about that film and u almost gave it a perfect score. I havnt seen it though but just sayin. Got Em!!

That movie drove me nuts. I love weird and odd films, but this one was making my feel abused. I wont say its bad, because taste is..... But it didnt work for me.

Malkovich was really good, but, wait, he was playing himself.

Glad to see that you enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed how the deep, dark and tragic story was told through the eyes of the young and innocent Stingo.

Nathans Bipolar disorder was scary and fascinating. And the level of dysfunction in his relationship with Sophie was palpable.

Sophie, her choice, and her struggle with the emotional aftermath will forever be tattooed in my brain.

Had not seen this for a few years. Blu Ray in demo worthy for the soundtrack, had to turn it down for the action scenes as my son was sleeping. Would have enjoyed it more if it was cranked up loud.
8/10.

I love Hans too, but the most poignant and powerful moment of the flick was to the song "The Host of Seraphim" by Dead Can Dance.

Its weird too, the same song was used in Baraka to great effect, and believe it or not, in The Mist as well.

Made even more effective in The Mist due to the absence of any other music in the entire film.
