5.0 initial rating

- 2*(x/16) for overall acting/directing. 8 points for each acting/directing. (x=0 best, x=16 is worst - combined).

- 1 if I've already deducted 4 points and think this deserves a big fat 0

Example:

Gladiator:

5.0 initial rating

-2*(2/16)

-2*(3/16)

-0

=5.0 - 4/16 - 6/16 = 5.0 - 10/16 = 4.375
Perfectly acceptable, as those are even fractions. Gandolf was getting all perverted with 1/3rds and kinky stuff.

Oh....no.....wait! I didnt see your final score. Unacceptable. Freaks!!!

Eccellente, Eccellente, Eccellente

What an amazing, beautiful film. From the vary begining i was attached to the film because of the coolness of Gudio and the score. This movie was remarkable and truly one of a kind. Not only was the acting perfect, storyline original but the women were amazing (eye candy).

Now i see the hype first hand and this is a great film. You can look at this film from many aspects but
[Show spoiler]i kinda felt like his life was the movie about 1hr in a half in
none the less is was remarkable and a masterpiece that i know i will come to love more with multiple viewings. In addition i love how he exhibits the pressure of directing and finding yourself. One quick question for those who have already viewed it.
[Show spoiler]Did the rest of the cast know this was his movie or was it a secret to them too? Or am i completely lost right now?

Clash of the Titans(2010)

Film:3/5

A mindless action film. I did enjoy it but not to the point o fever watching it again. Give it a rent. Some will like and some will not.

The acting was ok nothing stuck out to me not even Liam, but he really wasn't in this enough.

Story was about the same as the original.

Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance

I'm too tired to give a semi long review, but I loved it. The movie progress very slowly and it keeps you interested. Chan-wook Park is fast becoming one of my favourite directors, right in the top 10, maybe even top 5.

8.5/10

Tomorrow, JSA (joint security area) on DVD by the same director.

Gattaca

Just finished it and i thought this was a solid movie. Very good story solid and good acting. I know the Sci Fi fans would love this very very much. Me im more of a Pyscho/Thriller/Action/Fantasy guy but i still appreciated this film. Very well told and Ethan Hawk is solid.

This film is kinda is scary because the way technology is going this might be the future. Makes you really think hmmmm. Lol besides that great film and im glad i purchased it. Recommended

The Scarlett Pimpernel

I thought it was fairly interesting and a decent watch.

Nothing fantastic (except for Howard giving a strong performance) but it held my interest for its 96 minutes.

Leslie Howard was really good in his double role as the pompous English aristocrat and the hero of French aristocrats. It was great to see him shift between the facade and the real man, very good performance

I loved his poem

Another addition to my One and Done collection.

Note: This is the oldest movie I have seen.

Rating - 3.75/5
