Hooked up my brothers 360 elite and cannot seem to get it to properly display 1080p. It will do all other settings and if I tell it to detect the best resolution it defaults at 1080i. I know his TV is 1080p and I have the same TV (in a smaller size) so I knw it will take the 1080p signal. I tried 2 different cables and 2 different HDMI inputs with same results. If you set it on 1080p it displays a screwed up picture but is slightly legible and multiplied 3 times over the screen.
Any ideas? Anyone know if they have issues or if the chip or whatever for video output is fried? I am going to hook his system up to a friends TV via HDMI at 1080p for my final test on Sunday but was wondering if anyone knew anything first? Thanks in advance. |
