Blu-ray Ninja

Okay a problem has come up for me and I am assuming it is due to my Onkyo receiver. Lately when I play some Blu-ray's a few minutes into the movie the sound will all of a sudden drop out and the picture will start to freeze up and start playing like it is slowly being fast forwarded or skipping. This is not a disc or PS3 issue I am guessing because I have moved it upstairs to a regular HDTV that has no receiver and just uses the tv speakers and it doesn't have this issue. But when hooked up in my room to my projector and audio receiver it seems to happen randomly. For example this happened to Rudy and the Sixth Sense and the next day I tried Rudy and it seemed to work just fine then. Last night I watched Inglourious Basterds all the way through but then popped in Saving Private Ryan and it started doing the freezing thing a few minutes into the movie.
So what is causing this and how do I solve it? |
