still pissed the computer gave me freakin' Jake Delhomme when I missed a pick pretty early on... I mean, I could have used ANYTHING but a QB (I got Drew Brees first round)... RG, LG, FS, SS, CB, LB... and it gives me Delhomme!

In the end, it was my fault, but what bad luck!

Also, it was hard drafting later on with 15 seconds considering I had picks 31 and 2... (just getting from LG to CB took like half the time away)... but there's no way we would have finished the draft any other way.

wow. wouldn't a better coverage scheme do that? seeing that i havent played madden this year online, maybe there is something im not aware of.

and im just asking because i want to make sure i dont do anything im not supposed to.

and back to vernon davis- since he's not a WR, i can play him at any spot w/in the WR's then right?

and another question- what about package changes? things like TE slot, etc. are those not allowed?

I think package changes are allowed. It's just that, even though you can do things like putting DJax in the slot in real-life, doing that in the game exploits defensive A.I. deficiencies. I'm not sure what the verdict is though, so you better ask the commish.
