Yes, the site managers have expressed that any cover art should be front facing so 2-D is the way to go.

Anamnesis, do you have access to upload cover images or only to submit titles/make corrections? That would be the easiest way rather than posting and then having someone else amend the entry. Could save you some trouble if you're doing it directly.
