The couple decides to take a vacation to the wifes families' cottage in the woods to further the healing process, where we get a raw look into the "true nature" of nature, as well as a far more unsettling side of humanity.

With all of the crazy hype about this film and Jhiggy's recommendation that I not see it, I had it in my mind that this was going to be the most dark, depressing, DEVIL of a film ever. Absolutely not the case. For what it is, it's well done. A bit too "artsy" at times, but overall I enjoyed it. For some reason, this film caught a rep that made the title seem as thought it was a literal description. At the end of the film, I had the same feeling as I did after seeing The Road... "That was it?"

edit: changed my rating.
Thanks for the review but w/ the subject matter, I'll probably steer clear.

We watched:

The Adventures of Mr Toad and Ichabod Crane (1949)

A dual story on one DVD. We mainly wanted to watch Ichabod Crane as it's a classic Halloween movie for adults and kids. Excellent. Highly recommended for those who want something fun and light to watch around this time of year.

One of the best movies of the 80s to me. Gorgeous actress for April, solid casts for the ninjas and plenty of fun action as well.

It took me like a month to watch it first time around thanks to it's age rating, I'll try and get round to it as quick as possible. Don't worry, I'm too much of a snarky @$$hole to be called a wuss...yet again I'm too much of a snarky @$$hole to be proven wrong let's just say I'm British

15, but as it's on recorded it has a pin number. If you live in England and have a Sky+ box, you would know that no one knows what the pin number is and it will always be a mystery. I've got a friend who has been trying to watch the ending of Apocalypse Now for a few months now after I recommend it to him just because of that pin number

You need to re-write that, because it makes no sense. Plus, you are 15, so your PIN should be fine, right?

I'm 16 but it's a safty lock thing, it's a code you need to imput and no one has a clue what it is.

Then ask your parents, or call Sky and get one. Weak excuses. Try harder.
