Question Which TV please...

I currently have a new Samsung 40" 1080P LCD @60Hz with 15,000 contrast ratio and 10bit display.

My father wants to buy my tv and I want something bigger becuase I sit further back from my tv...like 9feet or so on a bed.

I don't do gaming and this TV will be mainly used for Blu-ray movies and regular tv. So I'm looking for the best quality picture I can get for the money.

I am also interested in the 24p/1080 input support to reduce judder from the 3:2 pulldown.

I'm currentyl deciding between the Sony XBR4 46" LCD with (18,000 contrast ratio, 120Hz, 10bit display and true 24p support with 5:% pulldown) and the Samsung 52" LCD with (25,000 contrast ratio, 120Hz, 10bit display, and 24p/1080 input)

I don't know if the Samsung does a true 5:5 pulldown or true 24p support like the sony's.

My question is it worth spending the same amount on a 46" screen with virtually identical PQ, but with true 24p input support, or would it be better to go 52" and get the same PQ, better Contrast ratio, but without true 24p 5:5 pulldown known?

P.S. Judder does bother me some.
