On the "movies" section, could "1080p" be changed to say "1080p24" and "1080i" changed to "1080/60i" please?

But it doesn't actually say that though - it's continuing to mislead the public that every title should be "1080p" and that it is always "better" without letting them know that the frame/image rates are lower than both types of 1080i possible on Blu-ray. Just putting 1080p will mean the ones that are 1080i look like they are half as good when they're not. I really think it should specify 1080p24 and 1080/60i so that it isn't misrepresenting the 1080i titles as being half as good and that the 1080/60i ones are shown to be different from the 1080/50i ones, which are also 1080i.

Also, the site continues to put "1080p" as the resolution when the people who add the title to the database don't know whether it's 1080p or not. eg. when every single concert/music BD gets added if they don't know the resolution "1080p" gets put as the resolution, when in reality the majority are 1080/60i and there is a very low chance that that concert/music BD will be 1080p24. It's the same with recent releases of UK versions of UKTV shows - it's more likely they'll be either the correct 1080/50i or incorrect 60i than incorrect 1080p24 but 1080p is what gets put there by default. Surely if the person adding the title doesn't know "Unknown" should be put instead of putting false information like "1080p" against a title (which could cause a person to buy a title thinking it would work with their machine when it may not).

What I do to figure out the real BD number of a collection is to go to the overall collection, then select "Overview". That will show how many BDs someone owns.

Default Database Error notification

I didn't know where else to put this, but I can't seem to post a post in one of my threads. I tried like 5 times and it keeps coming back as a database error. I can preview my post, but it won't allow me to submit. Other threads are fine.

Here is the thread:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/vinyl-old-...purchases.html

Any help is appreciated.

Just tried to post now and it seems ok.......I deleted what I posted.

Maybe it was just a glitch.

I assume it also causes problems if the link decides it no longer wants to be a working link too? I had a terrible time yesterday with a link to Panasonic, their site kept giving me DB errors, figured the validation from here REALLY didn't like that, lol.

Also any word on adding a quick letter jump to the collection page?

Sorry, I didn't explain myself better. When you look at your "Statistics" as far as your collection goes, (movies, skus, runtime, genre, etc...) it pulls that data not only from the movies you own, but also from the movies in your wish list. I would think that for that data to be accurate, (like your collection) it should only pull data from the movies you own.....

Does that make more sense?

But, its just a thought...I found this by visiting my friends collection, which has 10 movies in collection and 1 in his wishlist, but under his statistics it lists 11 movies total....
